• Bangladeshi students should have minimum GPA 8.50 together in SSC/O level/Equivalent & HSC/A level/Equivalent (Separately minimum GPA 2.5/4.00 in each).
• Local students should have passed SSC/O level/Equivalent Exam regularly in Science Discipline and HSC/A level/Equivalent exam regularly in Science Discipline with subjects Physics, Chemistry & Biology (minimum GPA 3.5 in Biology).
• HSC/Equivalent exam passed students have to pass SSC/Equivalent exam within 02 session prior to HSC/Equivalent exam.
• Students with "O" and "A" level pass must have Equivalence Certificate issued from the Office of the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME), MOH&FW, Bangladesh.

• Admission test for Local students will be held according to the instructions of DGME published in the Admission Circular.
• Selection of local students by National Merit List will also be done by DGME.
• To Pass the MCQ Admission Test local students must score minimum 40 marks.
• Migration process and student selection from waiting list will also be managed by DGME.

For admission into 1st year MBBS course all students need to apply in prescribed form of AMMC along with the following documents:

1. 2025-2026 Session MBBS Admission Test Admit Card. (২০২৫-২০২৬খ্রিঃ শিক্ষাবর্ষ এমবিবিএস ভর্তি পরীক্ষার প্রবেশ পত্র।)
2. Copy of MBBS Admission Test Result of the Student. (শিক্ষার্থীর বর্ণিত এমবিবিএস ভর্তি পরীক্ষার রেজাল্টের কপি।)
3. Original Registration Card of HSC/Equivalent Exam. (এইচএসসি/সমমান পরীক্ষার মূল রেজিস্ট্রেশন কার্ড।)
4. Original SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent Exam Academic Transcript/ Mark Sheet. (এসএসসি/সমমান ও এইচএসসি/সমমান পরীক্ষার একাডেমিক ট্রান্সক্রিপ্ট/নম্বর পত্র।)
5. Original SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent Exam Main Certificate and Testimonial. (এসএসসি/সমমান ও এইচএসসি/সমমান পরীক্ষা পাস এর মূল সনদপত্র ও প্রশংসা পত্র।)
6. Marks Equalization Certificate by DGME for students passed by A Level & O level. (এ লেভেল এবং ও লেভেল মাধ্যমে পাশকৃত শিক্ষার্থীর ক্ষেত্রে স্বাস্থ্যশিক্ষা অধিদপ্তর কর্তৃক প্রদত্ত নম্বর সমতাকরণ পত্র।)
7. Original citizenship certificate from Local City Corporation Mayor/Municipal Corporation Mayor/Union Porishod Chairman/Ward Commissioner. (স্থানীয় সিটি কর্পোরেশনের মেয়র/ পৌরসভার চেয়ারম্যান/ ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান/ ওয়ার্ড কমিশনার প্রদত্ত মূল নাগরিকত্বের সনদপত্র।)
8. Photocopy of National ID Card or Birth Certificate. (জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র/ জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদের ফটোকপি।)
9. Four copies of recent passport size Lab Print Color Photographs (Ear exposed). (চার কপি সদ্য তোলা পাসপোর্ট সাইজের সত্যায়িত রঙিন ছবি [কান উন্মুক্ত]।)
10. At the time of admission all original documents will be retained by the college until completion of the course. (ভর্তির সময় প্রদত্ত সমস্ত মূল সনদপত্র কোর্স শেষ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত কলেজ সংরক্ষণ করবে।)
11. 1st year MBBS class usually starts from first week of January or as declared by the Government each year. (১ম বর্ষের এমবিবিএস ক্লাস সাধারণত জানুয়ারির প্রথম সপ্তাহে বা প্রতি বছর সরকার ঘোষিত তারিখে শুরু হয়।)

Five percent of seats are reserved for candidates under the poor and merit quota. Applicants in this category are selected based on the criteria established by the DGHS. They are placed on a separate merit list and cannot be shifted to the general list or vice versa. A Selection Committee appointed by the College Governing Body will make the final decisions regarding these candidates. Selected students will pay fees in accordance with DGHS regulations.
